Welcome. I serve those clients with a broad spectrum of challenges and issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and addictions as well as anger management and marital separation. I work closely with individuals, couples, groups, adolescents and adults. Many of my clients find the addition of hypnosis helpful in resolving issues related to depression, anxiety, weight management, infertility, smoking cessation and pain management. My goal as a therapist/mediator is to help you find your "balanced life". As a registered psychologist I assist my clients to find balance in their lives.
Together we will work toward improved health and aim to achieve your goals. My therapeutic style is collaborative and engaging. I will first gain an understanding of the issues that my clients are dealing with. My therapeutic approach is largely cognitive behavioural, although I regularly incorporate other empirically supported interventions (SFT, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused).
I have experience in working with clients exposed to a variety of challenging concerns which negatively impact their lives. Some clients find it difficult to attend a therapist office or have limited mobility so I'll come to you when necessary.
