It can be hard to ask for help and reaching out to a therapist can be scary idea! From experience, therapy can be a transformational space where you can create real change. I hope to offer you a safe and non-judgement place to explore and work on the challenges you are currently experiencing. I have been a registered social worker for over 10 years and have worked with people experiencing various difficulties including social anxiety, separation anxiety, OCD, generalized anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parent-child conflict, school, emotion challenges and family conflict.
Brené Brown is quoted as saying: “Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you’re feeling. To have the hard conversations.” Therapy can be tough work. I hope to create a connection where clients can be vulnerable, feel heard and supported while working toward goals.
