The clients I typically support range from late teens/young adults to 60 plus years of age who have experienced past traumas, are struggling with major life transitions, and/or are feeling stuck in life and looking for support navigating unkind thought patterns and finding motivation. Some of my common in-session topics include navigating relationships, processing past or current loss/traumas, anxiety, depression, schooling/career issues, self-esteem, and self-confidence challenges.
I am very down-to-earth and practical. My specialty is leveraging CBT and solution-focused techniques to challenge maladaptive thought patterns, and to help clients to develop practical and client-centred approaches to make meaningful, and lasting changes in their lives.
I am empathetic and I will seek to truly understand your life experiences. I specialize in collaborating with clients to help them form lasting strategies that have real application to improve quality of life.
