About
My passion and experience is supporting children, youth and adults from diverse backgrounds including First Nation communities. I bring a wealth of international experience in the field of trauma informed mental health interventions with different cultures. I have worked and trained in various parts of the world including the United Kingdom, Southern Africa and Canada.
I provide a gentle and safe environment where I can support children, youth, individuals or couples. My approach is guided by trauma informed principals that acknowledge the power of relationships in shaping human experiences. I also believe in the remarkable capacity of the human brain to adapt and find more meaningful and positive ways to advance in life
My integrative approach is informed by a variety of modalities that I use such as EMDR, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Feminist Theory Therapy, Mindfulness and Therapeutic Play with children.
