I work with clients with mental health, addictions issues, assertiveness, family and relationship issues, problems at work, low self-esteem, struggles with ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
I have 30 years experience as a clinical therapist, seven years as an adjunct Professor of Social Work at Dalhousie University, teaching "Advanced Counselling and Social Work Practice". I have been a trainer in Motivational Interviewing for 20 years, which is an evidence based practice in guiding and empowering people to make their desired changes in life.
You learn what you believe as you hear yourself speak. I see my role as helping you come up with your own answers for your issues. I've been doing this for thirty years, and I really love working with people to help them solve problems and start feeling better.
