Reaching out for help when you are in pain, or wanting to change and grow, is a natural and healthy thing to do. My background as an Occupational Therapist in Palliative Care set me on a healing path that includes the body's wisdom and the whole environment when taking the next steps. I provide somatic psychotherapy for individuals and couples, which adds a potent dimension to traditional talk therapy such as CBT. I create a safe place to allow greater exploration and the risk of change. FOT is the gentlest and most respectful approach to trauma that I know. It is ideal for improving inner and outer relationships.
My typical sessions are 90 mins, on a bi-weekly basis, and vary according to need. I meet you where you are, work at your pace, in partnership with you. I use a resourcing model. We find your resources and add any missing. Couples work focuses on communication process. My gift is listening right inside where body wisdom is becoming known and more is found.
It takes courage to become vulnerable, and finding the right therapist is important. I welcome a conversation to find out if what you are looking for is what I offer. I welcome your questions, even if you decide that here and now is not the right time and place for you. I don't charge fees unless we enter an agreement.
