About
I have a caring, client-centred approach to counselling. You will find a warm and supportive companion in me for your journey of growth and healing. I view therapy as a personal journey for the client. Each client is unique in their needs and approaches to healing. I have a flexible approach to healing that is responsive to each client's individuality. My eclectic approach combines elements of rational emotive, cognitive behavioural, interpersonal and emotion focused therapies.
I enjoy working with reproductive mental health, fertility, and family planning. I also have experience working with existential and spiritual growth challenges, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life changes and emotion regulation.
I bring a rich tapestry of education and experience in human sciences to the counselling room. I completed a PhD in experimental (research) psychology in 2003 and enjoyed a rich and rewarding career in academic research and private consulting. I recently refocused my interests and completed studies in Counselling and Spirituality.
