Establishing therapeutic alliance with my clients is the foundation of my psychotherapy work. I am a strong advocate for cultural competency, and also believe that clients, although experiencing some challenges, are experts in their own lives and are seeking some support and guidance through therapy. Furthermore, I support my clients in exploring issues such as emotional difficulties, stress, relationship difficulties, parenting, self-esteem, and family conflict. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to explore solutions and coping strategies to overcome these barriers.
I use a client-centered and eclectic approach to therapy to meet the needs of my clients in a culturally sensitive manner. I also provide therapy in Dari and Farsi for those clients seeking therapy in those languages.
