Hello, my name is Lindsey MacDonald. I am originally from Cape Breton Island and have lived in Halifax for a little over two decades. I have been working with youth, adolescents, and families for almost 20 years in various roles within the education system such as a Student Support (Learning Centre) Teacher, Transition Support Teacher, and currently as a School Counsellor. I hold a Masters Degree in Education in Counselling, a Masters Degree in Education in Leadership & Administration (focusing on mental health), and a Masters Degree in Education in Curriculum Studies (Supporting Learners with Diverse Needs and Exceptionalities).

Joanne has completed her doctoral level courses in grief counselling and is working on her thesis. Joanne has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples.
