When we are up against problems in our lives, we often feel disconnected from what we desire most for ourselves. Issues never exist in isolation but are always influenced by their context. Life can be messy and I am here to talk about all of it. Some conversations I have with people include topics of trauma, violence, isolation, relationships, negative stories about self-worth, sexual assault, and suicidal thoughts. Narrative therapy is dedicated to asking full-bodied questions, while listening intently for skills, values, knowledges, and commitments people have. Stories shape our lives, and narrative therapy is curious about the stories that are hidden by the problems people are up against. It is a nonblaming approach that places clients as the expert in the room.

I will meet you where you are at every moment, recognizing that you know yourself best. You are valued just as you are today and I will always believe what you share. My practice is thoughtful, competent, culturally responsive, and compassionate. I will write you letters/poems/stories after our sessions together to bear witness to the stories you have shared
