My waitlist is currently closed. I primarily work with those looking to improve their relationships, access their emotions safely, and navigate difficult transitions in life. I believe couples counselling can be helpful at any stage of a relationship, whether it be creating a solid foundation, working through a transition (e.g., pre/post marriage, children, job changes, loss, etc.), or seeking to repair after challenges emerge. I understand that starting couple/family therapy can feel scary or overwhelming; because of this, I place a high priority on helping each partner feel welcome, understood, and valued.
I primarily practice Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to strengthen clients' emotional connection to self and others (couples, families, and individuals). In my individual work, I support my clients to feel a sense of power and control over their problems, develop confidence in decision-making, experience emotions safely, and improve communication.
