I offer a nonjudgmental, empathic space for my clients. A space where you, the client, can explore dilemmas, personal issues, thoughts and problems. I work with you supportively to gain insights and feel more solid as you navigate challenges that may come up for you in life. This may mean issues around relationships, work, self actualization, family, identity, a sense of belonging or loneliness. My strengths are compassion and patience. I will help you recognize patterns that may inhibit you from feeling good about yourself and help you to feel freer and have more agency in your life.
My specialty is working with individuals and couples in a relational manner. This means that together we explore your particularities and specific issues in an open and non judgemental way. I offer a confidential space where you can explore your own personal dynamics, needs and hopes safely and respectfully.
I emigrated to Canada from a country where people lived under an oppressive regime. Therefore, am particularly sensitive to discrimination and racism and understand the trauma of living in an environment where one feels marginalized, disrespected and othered. I am particularly aware of the effects of feeling unseen and dismissed.
