I have been working as a counsellor since 1987. My areas of specialization are relationship issues, caregiver support, grief & bereavement, palliative care, HIV/AIDS/Cancer, coming out, internalized homophobia, transgender issues, addiction recovery, and codependency. I offer individual and couple counselling.
I work from a feminist, client-centred, anti-oppression framework that allows you to see that you are not simply an isolated individual with problems. We all grow up in families with issues, within a society that doesn't always foster emotional health and well-being.
