I offer virtual and in-person psychotherapy grounded in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an experiential approach that works directly with emotions, anxiety, and defensive patterns as they arise. Together, we work actively to understand and shift the underlying emotional conflicts that contribute to psychological and somatic symptoms and longstanding self-defeating patterns.
My approach is active, collaborative, and focused. Therapy involves helping you face and work through what has been avoided so that longstanding emotional and relational patterns can begin to change at a deeper level. Working through these conflicts can lead to symptom relief, emotional clarity, and lasting change.
I also work with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and other somatic symptoms, which are often connected to emotional conflict and chronic anxiety. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer supervision and case consultation for therapists interested in ISTDP and psychodynamic approaches.
