After completing Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) and Bachelor of Education degrees at Queen's University I embarked on a career as a secondary school teacher at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute where I taught for 30 years. In preparation for a transition to a new career, in 2020 I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University.

I am a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Ontario College of Teachers as well as a general member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals, a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and both an Active Retired Member and Honourary Member of OSSTF.

Working with a wide range of individuals, my goal is to assist those who are struggling with the paralyzing effects of trauma, fear, loneliness, and uncertainty. While utilizing an integrated approach, I draw upon Internal Family Systems and Schema Therapy therapeutic models in pursuit of assisting individuals move toward a brighter, more optimistic future.
