Living with an eating disorder can be complex, but you're not alone. At RecoverED Counselling, I provide compassionate support and research-based guidance to help you regain control of your life. Specializing in anorexia, bulimia, binge eating & more, I offer therapy for both teens and adults. With training in Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Family Based Treatment, I focus on treating the whole person to restore balance and enjoyment in life. I also support families in understanding how to best help their loved ones and in addition to traditional counselling, I am pleased to offer meal support to normalize eating habits.
My approach to treating eating disorders is tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and where they are in their recovery journey. I practice holistically, using research-based methods like CBT-E, FBT, and DBT. Staying up-to-date on effective approaches is crucial in guiding clients through their recovery journey.
I understand that taking the first step towards healing can be difficult. Recovery starts with assessing where you are now, where you'd like to be, and then working together to create a plan to reach your goals. I can work with you, your health care provider, and your parent/guardian (when applicable) to help to move towards balance and recovery.
