I am a registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist who works in a private practice providing assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide variety of issues. I have over 10 years experience working with depression and anxiety, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress management, behavioural issues, body image and eating disorders. My clinical training took place at various hospital and community based settings, including the Hospital for Sick Children.
I have extensive training and experience treating eating disorders and body image concerns, including obesity and binge eating. I was trained at the Hospital for Sick Children and through The Maudsley Institute for Family Based Treatment. Additionally, I have been trained in CBT and EFT to treat eating disorders.
My focus in treatment is to meet the clients needs and tailor my therapeutic approach to suit the client. I recognize that the most important ingredient in therapy is the fit between the client and the therapist. Please call for a free consultation.
