Hello! I value transparency and connection in the therapeutic relationship. I believe our pain did not occur in isolation, so neither will our healing. Together we will build safe and braves spaces to explore our beliefs about ourselves, our patterns of behaviours, and feel our feelings. I strive to create a meaningful while integrating a variety of therapeutic interventions best suited for you.
I primarily incorporate DBT, CBT, ACT, solution focused and EMDR. I am currently pursuing EMDR consultation to become certified in EMDR. EMDR is a therapeutic modality that can help us when we feel ‘stuck’ in our healing journey, specifically when we feel like we understand cognitively our pain yet we feel our pain deeply.
Finding the right counsellor for you is very important and I appreciate your consideration to invite me into your life. I look forward to connecting with you and answering any questions you may have.
