For over 20 years I have worked in the field of mental health and addictions as a registered psychotherapist. Through many years of practice, I have demonstrated effective treatment of a wide multitude of conditions and mental health disorders. However, I consider myself to be a trauma therapist.
To be able to resolve distress in mental health and emotional functioning, I am trained the most effective and evidence-based modalities. I integrate affective neuroscience with traditional psychotherapy to address the neural bases of emotions through a therapeutic approach to modulate cognition and behaviour.
While working with individuals, my aim is to enrich their knowledge and experience of the mind/body connection. My approach is inquisitive, respectful, and compassionate.
