About

I am a queer-affirming and WPATH-trained counselling therapist who believes everyone has the innate capacity for growth, empowerment, and connection to self and others. In counselling, I create a safe space where you feel seen and heard. I am here to listen to your story, help you unpack how disconnection is affecting your life, and work together on a new way forward. I also write letters of readiness for gender-affirming hormones and surgeries in Nova Scotia according to the WPATH Standards of Care. For more information visit inthemarginscounselling.com.
As a queer feminist counsellor, I understand the importance of trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally-relevant care. My specialties are gender and sexuality, queer and trans-affirmative care, anxiety, sexual violence, healthy relationships, boundaries and consent, emotional abuse/neglect, self-esteem, and social injustice.
I provide online individual counselling services to adolescents (ages 16+) and adults. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and intersections. I believe you are the expert on your own life. I look forward to hearing your story.
