About
I am a Registered Social Worker and Certified Career Development Practitioner with over ten years of working in the field of mental health and employment counseling. I am passionate about working with people who are navigating transitions or interested in exploring their potential for change. I specialize in helping people examine and shift behavior patterns, particularly as they relate to substance use and behavioral addictions. I operate from a lens of harm-reduction and anti-oppression, and I recognize that systems, as well as people, need to change.
I offer services both virtually and in-person, so we meet from the comfort of your own home, or at my office located in Nelson. My approach draws heavily from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and anti-oppressive frameworks. I am also an advocate for the dismantling and rebuilding of unjust systems.
I am currently accepting new clients! If you think we might be a good match, please reach out to book a free 15-minute consultation. If you would like more information about my services, or to book an appointment, you can contact me directly or visit my website: www.maloriemoore.com
