I've been a trauma therapist in Toronto for over 25 years, helping people with PTSD or trauma; those who have struggled with a painful past. I use a trauma-informed approach, that draws on attachment theory, I see individuals, couples or families, who have been affected by trauma. Many of my clients are in high distress from grief and loss, they often have difficult family relationships, or they're trying to cope with anxiety, eating disorders, or emotional pain.
I use a trauma-informed approach, where I help people identify their goals for therapy and for change. Many of my clients struggle with relationship conflict, grief & bereavement, eating disorders, family crisis, parent-child conflict, male & female abuse, and adjustment to divorce.
In addition to doing therapy, I supervise psychologists who are interested in learning more about trauma, attachment, and psychotherapy. Finally, I've written two award-winning psychotherapy books, "Trauma & the Avoidant Client" and "Trauma & the Struggle to Open Up."
