About
The writer Sartre wrote, "Everything has been figured out except how to live." There are a variety of reasons people come to therapy: a driving need to change their lives and relationships. Therapy is about learning to live in a way which has meaning and purpose. James Bugental writes therapy is: " about the perspectives you bring to relating with the people who matter to you. It's about what you aspire to and how you may unwittingly make it harder to reach those goals. Psychotherapy is not about what you think; it is about how you live with yourself right now."
We begin with what is of most concern to you at the present moment: clear or ill-defined fears, worries, unhappiness or dissatisfactions. It is my task to help you make what may be surprising or unexpected connections. From these emerge a deeper understanding of who you are.
With self knowledge emerges an increasing experience of energy and purpose, a sense of possibilities and changes you could make. You become the builder of your life while I help to furnish you with the necessary tools. For more of my views click the website link on this profile page
