I specialize in aiding 2SLGBTQIA communities with a focus on folks who identify as transgender/non gender conforming/fluid. Moreover, I have years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, dual diagnosis, mental health, specifically mood disorders, and trauma.
I help clients plan and achieve their short term goals. Well versed in DBT, CBT, EFT theory and techniques. Qualifying as an EFT Couples Counsellor presently (2024). Qualified as a secondary care provider for completing assessments and referral letters for transition-related surgeries. Certified in Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk or AMSR.
I provide individuals with the space to be free of judgment and discrimination when sharing thoughts/feelings. When working with clients, I utilize systems theory to be able to better understand their situations, health, issues, families, communities, and influences. Further, I employ strengths-based and holistic approaches to aid in clients' recovery.
