I enjoy working with children (7+), teens, and adults. My experience includes offering support for depression, anxiety, stress, attachment, conflict, grief and relationship difficulties. I offer individual and family counselling with a person-centred approach to help you understand the current challenges and stressors that are affecting your overall quality of life. I have experience working with CAF members out of CFB Trenton where I provided support to military members and their families. I have also worked extensively with children and adults at Therapy Heals providing a safe space to explore current stressors and challenges.
I utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Attachment Therapy. Within session, I centre the therapeutic approaches around your individual wants and needs to ensure that the therapeutic process is effective for achieving your personal goals and achievements.
My diverse experiences with clients has increased my understanding of the variety of personal struggles that are faced. I believe that the therapeutic journey requires a partnership and establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with trust and respect is important for progress.
