We may struggle to cope when life's events compromise and overwhelm our support networks and coping mechanisms. I provide non-judgmental support to help identify and overcome patterns of behaving, thinking and feeling that are no longer adaptive, and help establish new awareness, habits, attitudes and actions. I support adults as they navigate life transitions and the accompanying anxiety, depression, grief and substance use.
I am a skilled and empathic therapist who uses a client-centred and integrative approach to address client concerns. I support individuals in their quest for personal growth, encouraging self-compassion, confidence, authenticity and self-determination, and I support couples that strive to strengthen and deepen their primary relationships.
My approach is gentle, clear and nurturing and is enhanced by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and an attachment orientation. Diverse life experiences inform my ability to understand the process of change, adaptation and growth, and contribute to a flexible and creative approach that always honours the client’s role as the expert in their life.
