Hello! My name is Mafalda, and I am an Registered Art therapist (RCAT) who has experience working with youth and adults in both individual and group settings. Hmm, Art therapist? It means that I combine psychotherapy with the process of art making to help you explore and process emotions and thoughts that may be sometimes challenging to express into words. Many people believe you must be ‘good at art’ to benefit from art therapy, however, this is not the case. You “do not need any art experience” at all! In addition to art therapy, I often integrate various therapy approaches and mindfulness tools depending on your specific goals.
Whether you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or deeply hurt by things that happened in your life, you don't need to go through your struggles alone, I am here to support and hold the space for you. Let's explore your life journey to discover your better self, to search a pathway to reach your fullest potentials, and in the process, to find your inner peace.
