I work with couples in both places. I'm a Registered Psychotherapist working in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach built specifically to help couples reconnect. We meet in person in Mississauga or online across Ontario.
EFT looks underneath the argument you keep having — to the needs and fears driving it, the moments where one of you reaches and the other pulls away. Once you see that pattern instead of living inside it, the fighting tends to settle and honesty feels safer again. I also work with individuals on anxiety and recurring relationship patterns.
Couples work can feel intimidating, especially if you're not sure your partner is fully on board. You don't need the right words or a plan to fix it — that's what we build together.
