Tired of being pathologized and feeling isolated? You are human and not alone. While each person possesses unique resources and skills, trauma responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn) can throw one off balance from their consistent, preferred way of living.

I have always been a big advocate of jumping into action and finding ways to address problems through concrete, focused strategies. I also honour the important need to foster compassion, validation and understanding as a foundation with my clients before this occurs. I am available to help adults presenting with a broad array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, relationships and life purpose. I also have a specialized focus of helping clients with chronic pain, chronic illness and disability. I am honoured to take part in the change process with anyone who is open to doing deep personal work.

When you're constantly holding everything together — at work, in your relationships, within your identity — it can take a quiet but heavy toll. During life transitions like birth, early parenthood, or divorce, that weight can feel even greater.
Welcome - I’m Margaret. I bring to this work a deep respect for your lived experiences, while also bringing curiosity to discover new pathways towards a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
My practice is grounded in collaborative and relational care - walking alongside you as we make sense of it all with cultural awareness, compassion and intention.

Hi, I’m Karina :) I’m really glad you landed here. I work with deep thinkers, creatives, and high-achievers (often in tech, academia, or creative fields) who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or at a crossroads. You might be juggling ADHD, anxiety, burnout, and/or work or relationship stress, and while things might look fine from the outside, it can feel like a constant uphill push just to get through the day. Perhaps you're wanting to feel a sense of ease, more space to breathe, or a way to feel like yourself again. Whatever you're carrying, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I work with individuals experiencing feelings of disconnection, anxiety, and self-criticism. Do you ever feel like you can't live up to your own standards or those of others? As though no matter how hard you try you remain stuck or unfulfilled? In a society that promotes speed, wealth, and unrealistic standards (of beauty, relationships, even self-care!) it can be increasingly difficult to find a space in which we feel heard and validated. When life prevents you from seeing the best version of yourself, I will see it for you, bringing your strengths to the forefront of our work together.

Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel discouraged that the people around them appear to not understand the personal challenges they're facing in their lives. In attempting to talk about simple daily struggles, friends, family and co-workers often give advice or put a positive spin on what's hard. This can leave us feeling inadequate that we seem to be baffled by things that others appear to have figured out. As humans we need understanding and acceptance in order that we can continue to grow: and this is support you can find in good therapy.
