I believe in people’s resiliency and that each of us is capable of growth, and reaching new goals and possibilities. I am a registered social worker, psychotherapist, and my approach is one of calm, non-judgmental and strength-based collaboration. Drawing on resources such as narrative, emotion and cognitive behavioural therapies and psychodynamic concepts, I work with people who are experiencing pain in their lives, and together we explore and address the issues affecting their sense of well-being. They develop the insight and skills to solve problems, initiate change and work toward attaining their goals.

A warm welcome to you. Whether you know what you want to work on in therapy or you just sense that you'd like to feel better and improve your life, I would be honoured to help. My integrative and holistic approach is informed by my personal mindfulness meditation practice (vipassana/insight tradition) and includes a deep appreciation for the power of the body-heart-mind connection. I use evidence-based trauma-informed mindfulness interventions, behavioural therapies, IFS-informed parts work, and a somatic (body-centred) therapy called Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I also have training in grief counselling (including non-death loss).

As a skilled active listener with a soothing voice, I create a calming environment where you can feel understood, as I provide guidance to help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. I offer innovative, tailored support with concerns such as trauma, stress, anxiety, and self-esteem, drawing on my non-profit work serving a diverse clientele in Indonesia. Further, my understanding of unique immigrant challenges has been deepened through writing my thesis on blended-family immigrants in Canada and conducting research on immigrant experiences in Canada — this work has shaped my passion for diversity and helping others thrive.

I often support individuals who feel like they are constantly navigating multiple identities, whether between cultures, generations, or expectations. Many of my clients are 2nd-generation Canadians raised in collectivist households, and they often feel the weight of being the bridge between their parents’ values and their own needs. Working with you in therapy, I offer a space where you don’t have to be “put together;” you can stop performing and can breathe a sigh of relief. We explore how your story, family roles, and inner patterns shape how you show up today, so you can begin living with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers. As individuals, we spend our lives on a continuous expedition of self-discovery and personal growth, marked by highs and lows. Throughout our journey, therapy can become a guiding compass to build resilience and strength to overcome challenges that we may face along the way. Through embracing the transformative approach of self-acceptance, we accept our ability to cultivate positive change within ourselves and our relationships.

Life can be incredibly challenging, bringing about situations like grief, shame, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or communication struggles. It’s completely understandable to seek support through individual therapy during these tough times. Perhaps it is our desire to understand ourselves better, care for ourselves, and make sense of how our past is affecting our present. Whatever it is that brings you here, your difficult feelings and experiences shine a light on the parts of you that seek understanding, compassion, attention, care and love.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working in the film industry—a world full of pressure, creativity, chaos, deadlines, big personalities, and constant reinvention. I know what it’s like to navigate complex relationships, perform under pressure, and push yourself while silently struggling. I also understand the courage it takes to get honest with yourself and break long-standing patterns.
That's why I am passionate about working with clients seeking change for the better. I work with clients navigating life transitions, burnout, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and more.

We all have our own, beautiful, way of being in the world. At times, we it seem that our authenticity recedes into the background. My goal is to join you in the depth of your sensation, and be with you in the difficulty and joy of how you experience the world. Together, we can explore the truth of what it means to be you. We can stay with what is owned, pushed aside, shamed and beloved, and how that informs the ways we engage with ourselves, and the world around us. I work from a Gestalt perspective, which notices our patterns, how we trip, and how we support ourselves in life, while being in the here and now of the current moment.

My ideal client is seeking real change, beyond quick fixes or surface-level solutions. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, or burnout. Some feel stuck in old patterns, others are high-functioning but silently overwhelmed. Whether they are individuals, children, couples, families, or entrepreneurs, they’re ready to understand themselves, heal deeply, and create lasting change. What they want is clarity, connection, and a path forward and they’re ready to do the work to get there.
