I see people with a wide array of concerns, who may be experiencing symptoms related to a mental health concern, have history of childhood or adulthood trauma, experiencing relationship issues, low self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed or stressed in their lives, experiencing grief & loss, infertility, and concerns related to sexuality, gender and sexual orientation. I work from a relational-cultural approach, also incorporating elements of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (body-oriented), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strength-based, feminist, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. I pay particular attention to how early life experiences shape who we are today. I take a curious stance, encouraging you to look inward for answers and to explore patterns in your life.
I aim to create a space that is warm, inviting and collaborative. I view you as the expert of your own life, and my role as one that witnesses and accompanies you on your journey towards making changes.
