Is your teenager pulling away from the family, spending all their time in their room, angry at the world? Are you lying awake at night wondering where that happy kid went, exhausted from the constant battles over grades, friends, or just getting them to talk to you? Maybe you're navigating co-parenting challenges and each exchange feels tense, you disagree on rules, and your kids are caught in the middle, playing you against each other. Or perhaps your child's ADHD diagnosis has left you feeling overwhelmed, unsure how to help them succeed, and every day feels like a struggle. You're not failing; you just need support.

Today, navigating day-to-day life has never been more challenging. Have you felt unable to live your authentic self? Knowing it is time for a change but unable to allow yourself to ask for help? For many experiencing gender-identity issues can feel especially anxiety provoking. I aim to help those struggling with understanding themselves.

Do you feel disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are outside of your responsibilities and roles? Do you find yourself putting your needs last, pushing through stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm just to get by? You might wonder why things feel harder than they “should,” or why rest and relief feel out of reach. Many teens and young adults today are navigating intense pressure related to school, relationships, identity, and life transitions, often without feeling truly supported. Therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and build healthier ways of coping and relating.

I came to this work because I’ve seen too many people, myself included, lose touch with who they really are under the weight of fear, survival, and overwhelm. What starts as a coping strategy becomes a default, and before long you might ask: “Who am I when I don’t have all these walls up?”
I believe that healing is about finding your way back to yourself. Safe, grounded, present and reclaiming the parts of you that got hidden or silenced. Over the years I’ve watched how trauma, stress, and survival mode can hijack not just our thoughts but our body, our nervous system, and our sense of home in ourselves.

Many of the challenges that bring people to therapy : anxiety, depression, self-criticism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in harmfull behaviours are often the result of unmet emotional needs.
These needs might include feeling safe, understood, valued, supported, allowed to express emotions, or free to be yourself. When needs go unmet, we adapt in the best ways we can. But sometimes the adaptations that once helped us cope become the problem. Therapy can help you understand the unmet needs and how to change your life to better meet them.
