About
I provide assessment and treatment for individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship problems, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and problems associated with coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans-identified. My early training in experiential, person-centred therapy is the foundation of my understanding of human and relational functioning and healing.
My ongoing training and teaching in the behavioural sciences along with accompanying my clients on their healing journeys has allowed me to develop and provide specific tools for specific issues.
Currently, these include cognitive-behaviour therapy for anxiety and depression; emotion-focused therapy for self-exploration and personal growth; emotion-focused couple therapy and cognitive behavioural couple therapy; and EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) for trauma.
