I specialize in helping people with pornography concerns & paraphilic/atypical sexual interests. I also assist people with anger management, personality and mood disorders as well as substance use disorders. I conduct risk assessments for people charged with sexual offences. Talking about sex, relationships and mental health concerns can be difficult and make you feel vulnerable. My goal is to provide a safe space for people to feel comfortable by creating a non-judgmental, transparent and compassionate alliance.
With 10 years experience, my practice focuses on providing therapy as well as risk assessments for those involved in the legal process due to sexual offences. I provide treatment, drawing on evidence-based practice such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Reaching out for support is both a daunting prospect and a courageous act. Sometimes it is difficult to take this first step on the road to self-discovery, acceptance and self-compassion.
