As we grow through life, there are so many stories that are left untold. Sometimes it can feel like there is no safe place to speak truth about our lives and experiences. My goal, as a therapist, is to offer a safe container to allow for your thoughts, feelings and questions to be shared, listened to and worked through. I am committed to supporting you, as we bring what is hidden to light and move towards a more authentic life, based on your needs and values.
I offer emotion and narrative focused talk therapy; integrated nervous-system support through somatic and mindfulness techniques; as well as solution-focused sex therapy.
I focus on women and couples, particularly in relation to sexuality, relationships, self-esteem, body image and emotional eating. My 20-year background in adult sex education, and my experience supporting people with eating disorders have given me the skills to address deeply personal topics with sensitivity, compassion and a non-judgemental approach.
I understand that navigating larger social expectations, while holding space for your unique history and experiences can feel confusing and isolating.
