About
I am interested in helping individuals and couples to set and achieve goals that can assist them to make changes in their lives. Change can be a difficult process, but also one that can be very rewarding and fulfilling. Whether you are suffering from depression, relationship problems, grief, anxiety, trauma, stress, or emotional/behavioural issues, talking about your difficulties in an atmosphere of safety and encouragement can help. I want to encourage meaning and purpose in your life while being sensitive to your religious or cultural orientation.
I seek to help identify and support the resources you have both inside and outside yourself to promote changes in your life. You may need to look at your negative thinking and behaviour that contributes to your situation. You may also need to consider more positive perspectives.
I have considerable varied experience from counselling men, women and Aboriginal foster children to assessing adult male federal offenders for risk of recidivism. I have provided group anger management programs and couples' counselling. I look forward to find out how I can help you!
