As a counsellor, I am so honored to be able to (figuratively) walk along side my clients, sharing ways to help manage their personal challenges. In my practice I work predominately with people who are struggling with chronic illness and pain and help them learn to manage their feelings, emotions, and concerns that often accompany new illness or pain. Pain and illness can cause an increase in anxiety and/or symptoms of low mood, and additionally our identify is often affected by this transition, making our new reality feel even more difficult. Having a caring and unbiased ear to talk to about these challenges can help.
Using a client focused approach, I provide a safe space for you to explore your experiences (both past and present) along with your emotions and your goals. Together, we will collaborate on strategies to help you navigate this time in your life, and guide you towards a life of joy and authenticity; the life you deserve.
