I work with people to identify the causes of deep unhappiness and kindle healing. We work together to grow your tolerance for emotion and ability to be genuine with others. I help people to heal after accidents & unhappy past events. I have specialized training in treating occupational trauma endorsed by the BCPFFA. I am approved with many extended health providers as well as Crime Victims Assistance Program, FNHA, Community Futures, VAC, WCB and ICBC.
I offer somatic based therapies such as Mind Body Attunement, EMDR, IFS, and assistance Psychedelic Psychotherapy including preparation, integration and harm reduction. I specialize in complex PTSD and trauma history. I work with people with chronic pain and first responders with operational stress injuries.
The mind can often heal itself naturally during REM sleep. Francine Shapiro developed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) (1987), utilizing this natural process in order to successfully treat many mental health problems. EMDR can accelerate therapy by resolving the impact of your past traumas and allowing you to live in the present.
