Welcome to my practice, Lighthouse Counselling and Therapy Services SSM. Are you having personal difficulties, or perhaps concerns about your child? I am a registered Psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults/families. I specialize in Play based therapy/ sand tray, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. I have training in Emotional Focused Family Therapy and like to use a variety of methodologies to suit the individual needs of my clients.
My passion is working with children and adolescents using play based interventions. I have been trained in play therapy levels 1 and 2 and have been a member of the CACPT since 2010. I offer a play therapy room for my younger or non verbal clients as well as an attached office for older clients or adults who prefer more of a talk therapy approach.
