If personal healing and transformation simply required us to think our way to a different way of being, we would have all done that by now. However, we often get trapped in the endless treadmill of the mind and attempt to "fix" ourselves on that level, all the while feeling more stuck, confused, and disconnected from who we really are. I believe that its through quieting the mind and re-connecting to the wisdom of the body that our unique healing intelligence can come through and lead us directly to the root of where we need to heal in order to lead a deeply embodied, meaningful life.
I work mostly with the framework of Internal Family Systems (parts work) along with a blend of other approaches like somatic processing, EMDR, and client centred hypnotherapy, The experience I bring from years of counselling and doing my own inner work, offer a wealth of support on the path of re-connecting to your body, mind, and soul.
I know what it's like to feel stuck, overwhelmed, grieving, fighting parts of myself and old beliefs that seemed only to be sabotaging my healing. The individuals that have been most helpful in guiding me through these times have been those who offered safety, expertise, presence, empathy, and wisdom.
