I am an experienced trauma informed Social Worker & Certified EMDR Psychotherapist. My priority is to create a warm, nonjudgemental space where you feel secure and supported to make wanted changes in your life. I collaborate with you to grow your inner and outer resources, process painful/traumatic experiences, and foster preferred ways of relating to yourself, others and the world. I work with a wide range of challenges and difficulties, including: trauma symptoms (PTSD/Complex PTSD), grief, dissociation, anxiety, gender identity & sexuality issues, relationship challenges, depression, and trouble regulating emotions.
I support curious and compassionate exploration of your inner world, and trauma reprocessing work that is contained and deeply attuned. I am trained in evidenced based approaches such as EMDR, IFS, & CPT. I am queer identified, and practice from an intersectional, anti oppression lens. I have specialized experience with Veterans and 2SLGBTQ+ folks.
I value ongoing dialogue, reflexive practice, and true collaboration in the therapeutic relationship. I know myself to be a clinician who is genuine, caring, creative, and open minded.
