To slow the process down, I use Emotionally Focused Couples & Individual Therapy, integrated with other modalities as we work together to repair the pain and hurt from the inside out. When dealing with traumatic memories stuck in the body, I use EMDR to access and process them and bring them to an adaptive resolution.

I am a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Clinician. EMDR facilitates the accessing and processing of traumatic memories and other adverse life experiences to bring these to an adaptive resolution. After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, affective distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and physiological arousal is reduced.
