I offer a down-to-earth and compassionate approach with a sprinkle of humour. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) passionate about helping young adults and adults, by providing in-person counselling (Kelowna) and virtual counselling across BC. Most of my practice focuses on helping adults (19+) with the following: navigating ADHD and late diagnosis, chronic illness, grief and loss, self-esteem and confidence, people pleasing, setting boundaries, navigating dysfunctional family relationships, perfectionism and procrastination, coping with burnout, feeling lost or unsure about the future, and making big life decisions.
My approach is based on the values of trust, authenticity, compassion and collaboration. I take a client-centred approach where we work collaboratively to make therapy work for you. I provide a safe space where you can be yourself without judgment. I am IFS informed and have completed Beginner Level 3 of the Somatic ExperiencingⓇ Training Program.
I recognize that it can be helpful to know who you are sitting with when sharing intimate pieces of yourself and your life. I seek my own therapy on an ongoing basis and value the experience of being on both sides of the couch. I also have lived experience with grief and loss.
