Hello and welcome! I believe counselling can be beneficial to anyone wanting to make changes and are looking for support as they navigate the different challenges they may be facing. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I work with individuals who are experiencing a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, and interpersonal challenges. I also work with couples seeking help with relationship challenges. I have personally seen the benefits of counselling and would love to help you have the chance to not only succeed but also thrive in life!
I follow a holistic, client-centered approach and use a variety of theoretical approaches that fit your needs including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I have also received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Brainspotting to help treat trauma.
I want to make sure you feel supported during our time together as I learn how to best support you. I look forward to meeting you and working together to ultimately help you feel better. Please note, check your junk folder if you have not heard back from me as sometimes my emails end up there!
