Autism and ADHD are widely misunderstood and I can help with understanding; whether you are looking to support a youth, a family seeking parenting support, or an adult seeking a safe space to work on your wellness goals! As an AuDHD person myself, I offer a strengths-based approach to learning about neurodiversity and evidence based practices for dealing with anxiety and depression. Additionally, I support neurodivergent couples who may benefit from understanding how this shows up in their relationship dynamics. I am Queer-identified and work with 2SLGBTQ+ community members and affirm non-monogamy and polyamorous relationships.
I offer neurodivergent affirming care, support 2SLGBTQ+ identified individuals and families, and work with trauma from the lens of grief and loss. I offer psycho-education, draw from theoretical approaches such as attachment, the social model of disability and queer theory to guide my therapeutic approach.
I am not your typical therapist and do not take a textbook approach to therapy. I do this work because as a disabled Queer AuDHD parent with a significant trauma history myself, I endeavour to help others with their healing journey. If you feel that we may be a good fit I would be happy to meet you and discuss further!
