With warmth, compassion and skill I support clients to move through difficult periods and make desired life changes. I work with adults, youth and families to strengthen relationships, build skills to manage strong emotions, and navigate life transitions with resilience. I specialize in work with LGBTQ+ communities. I can provide exploratory counselling to those questioning their gender and I see couples/families working through the complexities of gender identity/transition on their relationships and/or on their parenting. I also support people struggling with infertility, adapting to new parenthood, and parenting-related issues.

My style is warm, grounded and practical. My therapeutic framework integrates learnings from neuroscience, attachment theories, trauma therapies, mindfulness, and somatic/body based therapies; my lens is intersectional and anti-oppressive. The approach we take and the duration of our work together will be will be based on your particular needs and goals.

I love using my skills to assist people to tap into their strengths, find meaning and self-compassion, be their best selves in relationships, and live their fullest lives. I would be honoured to support you / your family through life's challenges and transitions. I welcome your inquiries and invite you to contact me to set up a free telephone consultation.
