You may notice you’re not connecting to yourself or others in a way that you want to be. You may be wondering about patterns that are showing up in relationships, with romantic partners, family members, friends or with colleagues. As your therapist I aim to create a safe(r) space for you to feel connected. I want to get to know you and your experiences in the world. I will work with you with compassion and care. My hope is to build an environment where you can be curious with yourself.
I work with individual and couples/multiples. I work within an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, harm reduction, ENM/poly lens. My work is client-centred and I am critical of the inherent power imbalance between client and therapist. You are your own expert and I am here to hold space and join you on this journey.
My work focuses on understanding and calming the nervous system. Trauma and oppression affect us so deeply. As your therapist I am here to explore this alongside you. We can work together to unpack, foster compassion and even befriend all of your parts. Show up just as you are.
