When we reflect on our lives, we each have our own unique set of experiences. These experiences and the interconnections between our biological, psychological, and socio-environmental factors shape who we are as an individual. Exposures to different types of events at times can be difficult to process and work through on our own. My goal is to advocate for my clients by developing appropriate supports and maintaining an inclusive and culturally sensitive space, that welcomes individuals from all walks of life.
My counselling background and previous position in the Canadian Armed Forces as a medical assistant allowed me to obtain a diverse range of clinical and mental health experiences. My appreciation towards the different types of therapeutic modalities that exist allows me to integrate interventions from other theories depending on my clients' needs.
