About
Welcome! I am a registered psychologist in Alberta with over 10 years of experience. I specialize in working with adults and have worked with clients on a range of mental health concerns including difficulties regulating emotions, trauma, anger, relationship issues, managing stress, depression and anxiety. I am empathic and caring and strive to create a collaborative, safe, supportive and nonjudgmental environment for clients. My approach involves supporting individuals in gaining insight, identifying inner resources and learning strategies and skills to be more effective and fulfilled in life.
My therapeutic approach is largely integrative and I draw on a variety of modalities depending on clients’ needs. I have a special interest and extensive training and experience in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). I have worked with several DBT teams across Canada providing both individual and group therapy. I also have an interest and training in EMDR.
