Hi! I'm Gen. I use an integrated approach to counselling, this means that sessions with me offer a diverse range of techniques that are evidence based and form the core of my practice! Together we discover skills and strategies that work to protect not only your mental health but your overall well-being. My goal is to make this virtual space a trauma-informed, gender-affirming, neurodivergent safe, and supportive environment for everyone.
Aside from counselling I use mental wellness strategies that act like a built-in layer of protection to alleviate the severity of symptoms when life gets more difficult and challenging such as in times of loss, loneliness, depression, anxiety and more.
I believe that you are the expert of you! Reaching out and exploring parts of ourselves that we've kept hidden or occupied with distraction can be a really frightening thing to do. With time and practice you can develop the skills and strategies that suit you so you can level up before your next adventure.
